It's been awhile!

Hey sorry things got a little crazy on my end. Lets play catch up: Got the reception hall, my save the dates which will be mailed out in January, and picked out our wedding invitations today! Found an awesome photographer Andrea Polito. Lets see...we hade a good Thanksgiving even though we missed Adam. Looking forward to Christmas but first we have to get through Abby's first birthday! And in about 4 weeks Adam will be home for good! I promise to do better on the blog updates! Hope every one had a good week and is ready for the weekend...I know I am!

uhhh...

We are all sick...we I mean mom, me, and abby. Abby has an ear infection and is cutting teeth, mom has bronchitis, and now my throat is hurting...BAD! I hate when my baby is so miserable and all I can do is hold her...I wish I could take it away lol. I'm wiped out! I gotta get some sleep.

What a Day!

Ok woke up at 8am...Mom fed Abby and I got her bag ready for CLC (Mother's day out), got her off to school...she cried :(, ran some errands, worked out, now gonna get in the shower, go get Abby a new car seat, grab lunch, pick her up at 2, hopefully go look at a new car :/, and figure out a time when my bridesmaids can get measured and get there dresses since neither have any money right now lol. Waiting on another one's measurements so I can order it for her bc she doesn't live here! Then some how find time to get my nails done! Ok so this blog wasn't really about the wedding I just needed to vent!

Proud of katie

So i hear everything is going good at home with katie and abby and you do not know how proud of katie i am. SHe has been handleing everything really well without me and its good to know that. I am currently trying to get my friends addresssess for the mailing list and i have a few but im still waitng on a bunch other ones to get back with me. Im really excited about getting home and finishing all of this with her. Oh and katie's birthday is coming up soon!!!! I need to think of a good present for her. Ok ill be back soon!

Here comes the bride...!

So all the dress stuff has been taken care of! I stayed with the one I wanted originally. I just had to try it on again and see myself in it! Also got the bridesmaids taken care along with my flower girl and house party! Yea the house party gets special dresses to bc one is my niece to be Nikki who will also light candles with my cousin Jack, and my little cousin claire and both need to feel special! What little girl doesn't like putting on a pretty dress!?!

I feel like Brett Farve!

Ok so lets start out by saying the Save the Dates got here yesterday...WOW they turned out fantastic! Booked a DJ...(shout out to Colby Logan with Astounding Sound). Ok so most of my To Do list Emily (the wedding coordinator (shout out...Blessed Unions)) gave me to do is getting knocked out fast, most of my things to do for October are pretty much taken care of. I'm thinking I need to slow down a bit though or Adam wont have anything to help me with bc it will be all done by next week lol! Now on the other hand when it comes to my dress I'm not to sure. I picked one out put the deposit down to hold it and have an appointment to get my measurments and get the dress ordered for tommorrow. BUT! I'm not so sure about the dress anymore. The more I think about it the less I really want it. I't BEAUTIFUL and traditional but omg is it heavy! And mom is no help bc she gave me bridal magazines which had dresses in it that I loved to and so now I have another appointment tonight to continue looking for dresses to make sure the one I have picked out is the one I really want! At the same time my aunt and mom the the dress I "have". It really is pretty...uhhhhh see how this is a Brett Farve moment?

New at this!

Ok so I'm new at this blogging thing and aparently I have to invite ppl to follow me? So basically I've just been blogging to myself lol. Well anyway...got the guest list finalized and typed and printed. Missing some address but I'm hoping mom will have the ones I dont. Gotta couple names for a DJ if yall have any suggestions throw'em my way! Think mom found a photographer too! Things are coming along. Oooo I get me save the dates TODAY!!! So be looking for them in the upcoming months! Friday I get my dress measurments and get that ordered! Wow things are really starting to happen now! Just like 9 months to go...(thats for the wedding...I'm NOT pregnant lol...seriolusly I'M NOT!!!)
